How to Know God

Welcome friend,

Whether it was curiousity or a desire to know God personally, we are glad you came to this section of the website. First, we want you to know that God loves you so much that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). God loves you and He has an awesome plan for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 states, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". Please take these next few moments looking at these truths that will change your life for time and eternity.

1. We were created to have a loving relationship with God:

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them

 - Genesis 1:27

2. Everyone has sinned:

 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. - 1 John 1:8

3. Sin has seperated us from God:

For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You. - Psalm 5:4

4. God sent His Son to pay the price for our sins:

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

- Romans 5:8

5. You can receive God's Son, Jesus Christ, in your heart right by faith:

... if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

- Romans 10:9-10

6. When we receive Jesus as our Savior, we enter into everlasting life with Him:

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  - Galatians 2:20

PRAY: Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I believe God raised You from the dead. I ask You to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior forever. Amen
